How to Build Your Faith (Matt 28 Explained)
A lot of us struggle to believe in God and if that’s you I’d like to give you the solution this morning.
A man falls off a cliff and grabs a branch halfway down. He yells, "Is anyone up there?" A booming voice says, "I am the Lord. Let go of the branch and I will catch you." Long pause. The man yells, "Is anyone else up there?"
It’s hard to believe! Especially in the resurrection. That God could raise the dead to life?! You are not the only who struggles to believe and live in that truth. Did you know all the disciples did too. Mary is told point-blank by an angel that Jesus has risen. She goes straight from that conversation to the disciples where she says I don’t know what happened to Him, somebody must have taken Him! Was she not listening did she not notice the angel talking with her? No. She did notice and she was a faithful woman, but believing in the resurrection can get the best of us. Jesus goes and meets 10 of the disciples. They all touch him, talk with him, watch Him eat a fish bbq. Still some doubted. These disciples were the best of the best. They had spent 3 years of their life day and night with Jesus. They still struggled to believe. So will you. …
