Support Women's Medical Mission
Time: 1pm – 3pm
Help GraceBuilt Church make a difference in the drug epidemic wreaking havoc across our region. Our GraceBuilt Women’s Ministry is sending a group of women volunteers to help at a free medical outreach in Kensington, Philadelphia — an area ravaged by drug abuse. We will come alongside The Rock Ministries, which permanently serves the Kensington Avenue area with a church, a medical clinic, youth activities, and discipleship programs.
In lieu of our normal Women's Gathering. This gathering will be special time of prayer as we are preparing a bags of supplies so the Women's Medical Missions trip can have everything it needs to bless the The Rock clinic in Kensington.
Who
Women age 16 and up.

Bring a snack to share.
Where
We will gather in the main sanctuary.
How You Can Help
Prayerfully consider blessing the people in the Kensington neighborhood in Jesus’ Name with by donating the following items. Place items near the Welcome Table near the entrance to the church during any service:
- Automatic blood pressure cuffs (small or regular size, no wrist cuffs).
- Pulse oximeters
- Large bottles of hand sanitizer for medical workers
- Latex-free gloves (any size)
BLESSING BAGS
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Soap/body wash
- Deodorants
- Shampoo
- Moisturizer/hand creams
- Combs
- Feminine hygiene products (tampons, pads)
- Chapstick/lip balm
- Hand sanitizer
- Wipes or disposable washcloths
- Gallon-sized sealable bags (ziploc, etc)

Claire Akin

Claire is married to Josh, and together they have four children. She dedicated her life to Jesus in 1998 as a young adult and has loved studying and applying God’s Word ever since. Claire and Josh met in Kobe, Japan, while teaching English to middle and high school students, and they have been married since 2003. She leads Bible study gatherings for women and serves on medical missions. Claire also has a heart for children’s ministry and loves sharing Jesus with the next generation. She works part-time outside the home as a primary care physician.
