Who
Baptism is the first step in showing others the faith God has put in your heart. If you haven't personally taken this step of faith, we encourage you to do so.
In the Bible no babies are baptized. So at GraceBuilt, baptism is for those old enough to have a personal faith in God -- 5 years old or older. If you were baptized as a baby -- not because of personal faith, but because of someone else's decision -- we encourage you to be RE-baptized as an expression of your own personal faith.
IT'S EASY!
What To Bring
Wear regular clothes. Towels will be provided, your welcome to bring a change of clothing and your own towel if you like.
Bring friends and family. Invite others to witness your public display of faith.
Maybe you would like bless someone by sharing your reason for being Baptized and why it is right for you.
Where
We will have a nice warm baptismal set up at the front of the sanctuary. In our children's department our ministry approved teachers have age appropriate lessons, crafts and games for the children. Our nursery children are read a Bible story and have a craft that is age appropriate for them as well.
When
One service 10:00 am, June 4th after our worship and teaching. It is good to share this joyous time with or families so k-5th grade students will be delivered back to their parents just before the baptisms begin.
